Don't destroy nature for baseball
Letters to the Editor

Hang on to last vestige of nature
The writer of the April 13 letter, “Keep John Prince a park at all costs,” was right on target. No one could be more of a baseball fan than I am, as my wife and I used to attend over 100 games a year at the old Municipal Stadium in West Palm Beach and at the stadium in Jupiter (both minor league and spring training games).
Why do we need five baseball teams in a 25-mile radius? Especially with the expense of destroying nature that took years of evolving. I still attend baseball games in Jupiter, just not as many. Let’s keep the little bit of nature here that still exists.
