And what better piece of earth needing protection
than
than
John Prince Park
Today is Earth Day, a day designated for fostering appreciation of the earth's environment and awareness of the issues that threaten it.
We have a huge issue right here in our own back yard. The Palm Beach County Commission, along with Lake Worth commissioners Scott Maxwell, Pam Triolo and Andy Amoroso, all who want to give 100 acres of public land in one of Palm Beach County's most beautiful parks to a billion dollar baseball team for private enterprise.
If you have not yet done so, please go to John Prince Park Preservation Facebook page and become a supporter to save and preserve our park.

Thanks. We must save this park. It is absolutely necessary.
We must also kick these County Commissioners out of office. And we must elect people to the Florida legislature that will defend our public spaces, not their campaign contributors.
And I would say that above all we have to stop this horrendous scheme, which it seems is signature Scott Maxwell, of confiscating public lands for wealthy private developers with ties to the commission and now to provide more "free" land to baseball billionaires. Public lands are public lands; not party favors to be handed out to campaign donors.
