As there are two other Democrats running, not just Dave Kerner, this was a highly inappropriate endorsement from an elected commissioner from the dais. Officials and employees, as public servants, are considered stewards of the public trust and should aspire to the highest level of integrity and character. They represent all of us and this came across as electioneering/steering from the dais.
These county seats are up for grabs:
COUNTY COMMISSION (Primary & General) (4 year term)
District #1 – Hal R. Valeche (REP) (first elected in 2012)
District #3 – Shelley Vana (DEM) (term limited)
District #5 – Mary Lou Berger (DEM) (elected in 2012)
District #7 – Priscilla Taylor (DEM) (county commissioner since 2009 when she was appointed by Gov. Crist, then elected in 2010 and 2012)

I agree. That remark was stupid. The problem here is that none of them care if they offend other residents that they represent. It's totally immaterial to Andy.
If you follow the money and highjinks of the development dynasty, the trio, it is sadly to be expected. The idea for us to build a stadium for the Braves at JPP, I would bet my bottom dollar started with Scott Maxwell, who then sold it lock stock and barrel to the County. Now they are trying to load the docket in advance with more people on the paytoplay baseball docket. Now be on the lookout for how they will spin the "creative financing." I am still perplexed by how a deed is not really a deed if it is in the state of Florida. Where I have lived before it is considered a legal document, and officials follow the law---
The idea of a stadium started with Maxwell's sugar Daddy, Mark Foley,who lobbies for the Braves.Maxwell will probably stroke out pretty soon. The truth is like holy water to Maxwell. Look how he reacted when Lyn and Katy talked at the meeting.

He, like Maxwell and Triolo, is building up a big network. He is on the Board of the PB County League of Cities. He travels all over to attend these conferences.
