Actually, we would like all of the public to take Mr. Timm's example and tape their mouths shut and keep them shut at all times...Commissioner McVoy too. We visionaries don't like getting upset. We have no idea what has been proposed at the beach--none whatsoever and we don't understand why the people are up in arms. We like secret meetings and respect the cone of silence. We don't want the people to chuckle, clear their throat or utter one sound while we are speaking about this beach. If anyone should be pissed off about it, it should be me. Look at the facts. This is getting silly. I'm done.
P.S. And we miss John Szerdi, the guy who gave us Hudson Holdings and was working on a bus system and God knows what else before he got fired by the people.

This is sad to hear, and Scott and Pam are both such good church going Catholics too. Why don't they listen to the people and let us talk? Have they lost the Spirit? Is this what politics and power does to people? I am so sad and sorry to hear that this is going on in the peoples chamber in our city. Sounds like Pam needs to go to confession.
I have to wonder if both Pam and Scott were bullies when they were kids. Power has certainly gone to their heads. Andy is not so bad but his politically charged snide remarks are transparent and going after that church was pretty disgusting.
I'm confused. Didn't Mr Timm say he would no longer attend City Commission meetings? Wasn't there a big deal about that?
What made him return. Was it the overwhelming standing ovations he receives each time he bestows his world view on us unsuspecting subjects of the current minority?
And Commissioner Maxwell is "sick and Tired of it" !!!
Maybe if the Mayor didn't have to stop every meeting for nicotine breaks things would move quicker.Or better yet, maybe she could make Maxwell chug a shot of Kaopectate. Does it work for diarrhea of the mouth as well? If Hambuger Boy didn't suck all the air out of the room with his "I'm disgusted" rants things would go MUCH quicker !
Why can't Maxwell correctly pronounce Commissioner Maier's name? Is it blatant disrespect or abject stupidity?I contend it is a combination of both.
Maxwell and Triolo are both lying out of their asses when they keep playing the "I know NOTHING" card about the beach. Hudson Holdings has had multiple meetings with both of them. Szerdi clued them in to the scheme before Hudson Holdings was brought into town to buy the Gulfstream. Bornstein, the go between for Triolo, Maxwell ,Amoroso and the ex-Szerdi gave them (and is CURRENTLY giving them )all the details of the ITN meetings. Bornstein and Maxwell have even been stupid enough to talk about the "secret" meetings in between gulps of steak at Callaros during their taxpayer funded lunches ! And this was while the sacred and imaginary CONE OF SILENCE was in effect !!!!! BTW, did anybody else notice that Hudson Holdings didn't seem to know that they were supposed to keep things SECRET ?!?! Hudson advertised their plans for the Beach more than a Hooker walking down Dixie !
I know and understand that our town is really quite divided (the small percentage that is engaged). I often don't agree with what this Commission has proposed, in particular LW2030, but I still listened, asked questions, did my research, etc.
Same for the current 2" pipe discussions, I am interested, paying attention, listening, etc.
I know its hard to listen to people you don't agree with, but we can all learn from each other. We do have different backgrounds, different experiences, but I do think we all want LW to a better place for all of us.
The public should be permitted to speak, in fact the public should be allowed to speak more than is currently budgeted.
@9:00--Mr. Timm has never seen a commission that he really likes--they are all awful in his opinion. He studies the back-up and understands, as best that he can, the issues and wants to express his opinion. What is wrong with that, anonymous? This is not some sort of personal vendetta with him when he objects to what this commission is doing. During the last commission before this trio, he objected to them as well. He has the right to speak.
