Unfortunately the police profession has been demoralized, mostly due to their own doing. It is sad that so many police today instead of protecting the public and uphold the law do just the opposite, mostly out of fear. They hide on the job, not providing a presence in the dangerous areas prone to high crime, they hang out at the beach or golf course instead. Drugs and the drug problem keeps getting worse and it almost seems like either they overlook it or allow it, as if it is OK to sell and use drugs, they are all over so easy to get your hands on, why? do police overlook them or maybe are they part of the problem? Why is there so much heroin in the USA now, why are there so many addicts? Are the police involved? Do they over look it? Do they make extra money in the drug trade business? Is it easier to stay out of the hood? To avoid or prevent problems? It just all makes you wonder if police are involved in all this drug and crime problems? They are like scared chickens worried for their lives, that is why they are not around. It is easier to stay safe as a cop when working to stay away from all the hot areas, so they seem to avoid all the real problems and bad areas of cities. Police are aggressive and shoot off easily as they are afraid, it is scary out there. Most people today do not have respect for law enforcement, but they just don't do their jobs, they avoid the problems, then they wonder why no one respects them anymore. As crime gets worse and police get even less present, two professions no one will go into any more are police and teachers. Society is crazy, it is harder and harder to be a good cop or teacher.
still no talk about his own police force caught selling steroids and pills on duty with weapons on them -out of lake worth wellness and wellington wellness(fbi got case)---lynn you are doing stories like this make a few calls and do a story on that you have known about this for yrs but you never mention this -have you called and got a least a comment and why not,this was going on in lake worth also
