We took care of the Japanese problem quickly and efficiently. It may have been "overkill" but it worked. We are overdue for doing the same with Isis. We need to stop this madness NOW and "kingdom come" is where they say they want to go anyway. Lets give them a "red eye" flight, all expenses paid. Just my humble opinion.
All she said was take down ISIS...no one said anything about dropping the a-bomb. ISIS has how many terrorists? 30,000 in Syria alone and up to 250,000 all over? What is the last count? Not exactly a handful.
Lynn Dah-lin, the reference was Japan, right? Which refers to Nukes. While "overkill" was used, my comment was regarding the difficulty with enemies like ISIS vs a time like WWII where we took out Japan and Germany. Fairly well defined enemies wouldn't you say? Not so much with ISIS. The handful comment was a bit tongue in cheek but 30,000 vs millions within the boarders of Syria....and 250,000 scattered about the world equals a very very difficult target to take out as mentioned regarding Japan.
Some get on the news and rattle the sabers of how we as a country have fought wars previously, my point is this is far far from the same and takes much more time to collect intelligence to fight ISIS.
