At the Summit of Americas held in Panama City, Obama said that he hopes efforts to restore U.S. diplomatic relations with Cuba will improve the lives of the Cuban people. Is that our role in the world? What about improving the lives of people here?
Empowering people is fine but the monetary cost to bring up the entire world is devastating to this country that already has over an 18 trillion dollar debt. All of a sudden are Cubans going to get civil rights? Cuba was added to the State Sponsors of Terrorism List on March 1, 1982 and in 2005 is on the list as an outpost of tyranny

2. Created over 11 million jobs since since taking office.
3. Cut the national deficit in half.
4. Ordered all federal contractors to pay a minimum wage of $10.10 per hour.
5. Led the country to 64 consecutive months of economic expansion.
6. The Dow stock index has more than doubled and hit record highs, assisting every single American with a 401K.
7. Oversaw the decrease in the price of gas, assisting every single American that drives. (Remember, Obama is blamed for high gas prices, so he has to be blamed for lower ones, too.)
8. Appointed more openly gay officials than anyone in history.
9. Expanded funding for the Violence Against Women Act.
10. Along with Congressional Democrats, supported and signed Veterans Health Care Budget Reform and Transparency Act, which made more money available to enable better medical care for veterans.

The country is back in the black if you consider where George W. Bush and the Republican Party left and abandoned her. No American wants to go back to 2007 when conservatives almost brought this country to her knees.

Well us why, Lynn. I'm dying to know why YOU (not Fox News, not Allen West, not Glenn Beck) think he is the worst President ever. Specifically, why he's worse than George W. Bush or Richard Nixon.
Surely you have some reason for thinking so. I'd love to hear it.
I would suggest just Googling. There are so many examples of how he has let this country slip, slide and fall.
The Obama presidency lies in shambles. Few presidents have promised more, delivered less, or done more damage. The economy limps along anemically — the weakest recovery from a recession in history. Rising taxes, suffocating regulation, soaring domestic spending,(and we'll never recover from this debt) and voraciously expanding entitlements have deep-chilled growth, innovation, and the creation of new jobs. The administration has tenaciously impeded the exploitation of huge energy reserves that could transform the U.S. into an energy exporter. He wants something--well, he just prints more money. And you credit him for a soaring stock market.
This is an argument that can't be won at least not with you. He's in there. He will be out. Thank God for term limits.
