The City has threatened Common Ground's landlord with daily fines up to $500 and foreclosure if the "violation" is not corrected by the landlord making the church get a "business license" to meet for worship. Liberty Counsel has demanded that the City drop its plan to have churches obtain business licenses, refund the business license taxes already paid and retract its threat to Common Ground church and its landlord.
City Manager Mike Bornstein said, “A duck is a duck. If someone is holding religious services as a church, it’s a church.” He said the city was forced to take action “to protect the community.”

I personally think that Andy Amoroso should be removed for abusing his authority and starting this in the first place.
To City Manager Mike Bornstein coffee is coffee, if it comes in a cup and it smells like coffee, it's probably coffee.

andy better watch his step-he thinks he is better then the law and he is starting to target specific individuals and he will be sued
What I heard it that AA said to the pastor that "they (the worshipers) hated gay people" and the pastor said that simply is not so and has gay members. If that statement is true would it not put the shoe on the other foot? Does AA hate Christians?
