Ilhan Omar Compares America to Somalia
Let’s all take a moment to thank Ilhan Omar for her continued service as America’s most ungrateful refugee. You’d think someone who fled a war-torn nation, landed safely in the greatest country on Earth, and then got elected to Congress would have at least one nice thing to say. Nope.Instead, she stepped up to a microphone, looked directly into the camera, and basically said, “This place is starting to feel like Mogadishu with a military parade.” You can’t make this stuff up.
In a now-viral clip, Omar lamented that she grew up in a dictatorship but never saw anything as terrifying as checks notes ICE agents and military vehicles in the streets.
That’s right—according to her, the United States is now some dystopian hellscape that rivals the failed state she escaped. She whined about the president spending money to prop himself up like a dictator, complete with a military parade.
Democrats like Omar love to shout about “saving democracy” while they demonize anyone who disagrees with them, sue to silence speech, and cry “fascism” anytime they lose a vote.
