Ron Desantis signed a bill about 4 months ago--$1 billion reinsurance fund, put disincentives in place to prevent frivolous lawsuits.

As far as your building, just be glad it doesn't exceed 4 floors. Your insurance is probably higher due to the number of rentals in the complex.
