City Clerk Pam Lopez to retire

Pam Lopez was with the City of Lake Worth for 14 years. On Tuesday night, staff threw her a good-bye party which was held in the conference room and presented her with a special proclamation during presentations honoring her for her years of professional service.

Lopez should have been fired years ago. What a corrupt liar she is.I wish there was a way we could prevent this bit*h from getting any kind of pension.

What a sin, this is highway robbery giving such high salaries like this to these people. Sinful. What pisses me off is that poor teachers make so much less and do so much more than these people who do not even need a college degree. Sad and sinful!

That actually seems about twice as much as it should pay. I wonder what a comparable job with the Federal Government would pay. The duties and responsibilities seem to warrant a highly competent person, on a par with an Executive Secretary, or an Administrative Assistant. However, are the duties and responsibilities actually carried out, or just over wordy? They are probably pumped up to justify that salary. I doubt if the City Manager could carry out these tasks.

Ms Lopez has always been kind and efficient to us whenever we visited her office.
