The eye for eye mentality Israel has will never work and has never worked. They are not the only people or religion in the world and need to take on a more Christian philosophy, but they won't, they are stubborn still today like in the old testament and Torah back then. If they continue this way, there will never be peace, it is not ALL about THEM. They could have learned a lot from Jesus, but refused to.
Without question, the settlements should be curtailed. Anyone who thinks the settlements are being built for Israelis is sadly misinformed. They are filled with fanatical New Yorker's and of course many other foreigners. The UN did the right thing. The two state solution is the only workable solution available. If the Palestinians prove that they can't govern themselves, shame on them. The world is a dangerous place, we don't need this disturbance from a people who are educated and should know better.
