Attorney General Gets Walloped

I'm having trouble understanding the nature of this "investigation." First, Holder handed over 7,900 documents to the House Judiciary Committee which were in the possession of the Department of Justice. That wasn't enough for Issa, who insisted that the administration turn over 106,000, virutally emptying every DOJ file on record into the hands of House republicans.
Next, we learn that Fast and Furious was renamed from an earlier Bush administration program, and the two weapons found at the crime scene of a border agent's murder most likely came from that earlier spate of "gun walking" from Arizona. Finally, we know that both programs were conducted by ATF, and yet no one from ATF was called to testify in front of Issa's committee.
It seems a great deal more work and actual reading of documents already turned over should have taken place before considering a contempt citation against the Attorney General. Major steps have been skipped to rush toward a politically timed endgame. If I could figure that out, the rest of the country won't be far behind. In short, the republican game is both shakey and shallow... pretty much how they;'ve handled everything since this president was elected. Now, can we get on to the jobs bill?
