This little convenience store has been around for ages. I used to ride my bike there from Lake Osborne when I was a kid. Drugs and gangs have taken over the neighborhoods. We need to take them back.

It is bad, and police need to be present more in the rough areas like this and by 1301 Lake too, the police need to have a better presence. It has gotten better though, 5-8 years ago it was a lot worse. Even yesterday in Jupiter there was a double homicide, people are shocked there, things seem better here, but there are still a lot of drugs, drunks, and prostitutes here all which lend themselves to this type of crime. Central PBC is very diverse, with lots of elements, we have tons of renters, illegals, immigrants, abusers and users of whatever, and people just trying to get ahead who will do anything. Crime flourishes with all these elements. I just wish the police would stop hiding over in the safe areas, they only go in the hood when called to investigate a crime here, they really need a substation set up in this area. They could do a lot more if they were more visible here.
