I don't understand this comment. The Palm Beach Post just had a lovely article on our new Casino building and the beach renovation. When this facility opens in the fall, the city should see even more new businesses.

It is you and those you support who want to bring in MORE affordable housing to this city so that you can gain...developer friends of yours can gain....contractor friends of yours can gain and so forth. Bornstein was chosen with a 5-0 vote. His first official act was to fire Margolis. What does that say about the quality of Stanton's Staff and what the whole Commission thinks? Do you really think something as big as that wasn't discussed in the personal interviews?
Stanton's staff was/is TOP quality. All this says to me is politics got in the way--Scott Maxwell is the likely culprit. Just an educated guess. I don't think a specific such as firing someone was suggested in the personal interviews but I would bet that Maxwell found out who would be the best "company" man, Bornstein or Kroll. In the end, Kroll was thrown under the bus.
If you recall, Titcomb was the choice of 2 commissioners. The new visionaries went with Bornstein and the final vote was 5/0 to show support.
