It annoys me when people call the US a Democracy, rather than a Representative Republic.
However, I can see how they would do that, as the US is turning into be a place of Mob Rule, which is how I picture Democracy, rather than a Representative Republic.
@2:23...In a Democracy form of government there is limitless power over the minority. Rights can be overridden by the will of the majority. As we are a Republic, the people are protected by a Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Tucker is talking about democracy as a set of ideas and principles about freedom.
