"A 27-year man improperly riding a bicycle in the inside eastbound lane on Lake Avenue just east of the Lake Worth Beach drawbridge died in a crash with a 2015 BMW early Monday, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said.

At 12:08 a.m., the vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old man, was also traveling eastbound on Lake Avenue in the inside lane approaching the peak of draw bridge, PBSO said. The front of the vehicle struck the rear of the bicyclist with the rider thrown off and redirected onto the hood and windshield.

This reminds me of the couple who recently bid on a Hog at the South Florida Fair to rescue it, saving it from the slaughterhouse and then discovered the animal would be killed anyway and they had spent $4,700 on its meat.

Meg and Eric Weinberger, who run the Rescue Life Sanctuary in Palm Beach Gardens, insist officials from the South Florida Fair gave no notification that they were bidding in a “terminal” auction of livestock raised solely for processing.

Stories such as this are depressing.

Fox News Meteorologist beat to a pulp on NY subway

The NYPD recently released a photo of a fourth suspect in the subway assault of Fox News meteorologist Adam Klotz. The attack occurred Saturday morning on a southbound No. 1 train near 18th Street.

Three of the suspects—two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old—were arrested soon after the assault and then released, but the fourth suspect remains at large.

Klotz spoke about the attack in a Monday night interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, saying he encountered the group of seven teens setting an elderly man’s hair on fire. When he told them they couldn’t do that, the focus quickly shifted to him.

It has since closed its doors and the owners posted on Instagram that they were starting a winter break early due to the incident.

Caldwell has said the incident was a clear case of discrimination and the bookstore's actions were promoting a sort of political segregation reminiscent of the Jim Crow South.

The White House appears to be approaching full meltdown mode. Over the weekend, Chief of Staff Ronald Klain bailed on Biden a few hours after the president’s home was searched by the FBI as the classified documents scandal spirals out of control for Democrats.

The DOJ found six more pieces of classified information stashed away in the Biden home in Delaware last Friday. Biden’s lawyer and some White House officials confirmed that investigators took about 13 hours to comb through Biden’s mansion. The First Family was not there during the search.

For their sake, let’s hope those investigating the house didn’t have to go through Hunter’s sock drawer or have to look under his bed. Who knows what kind of disgusting things they’d find, though this was not the house that he was paying almost $50,000 a month for to his dad.

Ex-FBI Official Involved in Trump-Russia Probe Indicted for Working on Behalf of Sanctioned Russian Oligarch

Charles McGonigal, a former FBI official involved in the investigation of Donald Trump’s ties to Russia, has been charged with violating sanctions and collaborating with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, the Department of Justice announced today.

As we know, the Trump-Russian collusion was a hoax.

According to federal prosecutors, McGonigal received “concealed payments” from a Russian intelligence officer in exchange for his help in having sanctions targeting Deripaska lifted. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) latest numbers for December, released on Friday, revealed Border Patrol has arrested 17 people at the southern border whose names match on the FBI's Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) -- which contains information about the identities of those who are known or "reasonably suspected" of being involved in terrorist activities.

December’s numbers bring the total number of terror watch list arrests between the ports of entry since FY 2023 began on Oct 1. to 38.

There were 98 terror watch list arrests in FY22, 15 in FY21 and just three in FY 20 at the southern border caught between ports of entry.

A federal judge in Florida dismissed the lawsuit brought by a Democratic former state attorney who sued Gov. Ron DeSantis for suspending him last year for his vows not to follow certain abortion-related laws.

U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle ruled that DeSantis was not obligated to reinstate Andrew Warren, whom the governor suspended for neglecting his duty in August after he pledged not to enforce bans on abortion, as well as transgender surgery. One of the reasons the judge said he couldn’t reinstate Warren was because any violations of the Florida Constitution must be handled by state courts, not federal ones.

One of the comments was that Warren was elected into office to enforce FL law. Instead he stated that he would not so he was in violation of his office. Some people seem to think that they they can pick and choose which laws they will follow and which they will not and that is not what they were elected for. Either do the job that you were voted in to do or resign – it is that simple.

Warren says, "it's not over...DeSantis had no right to fire him." As a state attorney he should have known that he fought his battle in the wrong court.

On Jan. 21, around 1:30 p.m., a man walked in to the Chase Bank on 2603 10th Ave N 1st with a firearm.

According to a PIO with Palm Springs, he showed the firearm, demanded money, and then left.

The incident is under investigation.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report on Tuesday that uncovered the Department of Defense’s (DOD) fifth consecutive failure to pass an audit. The agency was unable to document or account for at least $220 billion in government-furnished property, according to the Daily Caller. Despite being mandated by federal law since 1994, the DOD had long ignored this directive due to its colossal size, reported Military.com.

This past November saw the Pentagon fail its fifth audit after it could not validate 61% of its $3.5 trillion assets. To complete this year’s overall audit of the department, 1,600 auditors were gathered and numerous site visits, both physical and virtual, were conducted over a span of 220 and 750 visits respectively. An estimated cost of $218 million was expected for the entire endeavor.

Ron DeSantis being targeted by Soros Group, Alianza Americas

The next big favorite for the GOP in 2024 is Ron DeSantis

Not surprisingly, he is now being targeted by a George Soros group.

You better believe the old man picked up the phone and gave that order.

Alianza Americas is an illegal immigration advocacy organization operating out of Chicago, San Francisco, and El Salvador now in a battle with Governor Ron DeSantis.

The group allegedly refused to produce its 2021 990 Form after multiple requests.

Fox News reported, “Alianza Americas, which had garnered more than $1.5 million from Soros’ Open Society Foundations, violated IRS law by not producing its 2021 990 Form within 30 days of a written request.

“The Examiner sent the first written request for Alianza’s tax forms on Nov. 28 and followed up with a second and third request on Dec. 23 and Dec. 27, respectively.

“The publication said it sought the records to verify whether Alianza participated in lobbying in 2021.”

Now the group is trying to flip the script by suing Ron DeSantis for flying migrants to other locations. [rightwingnewshour]

Alianza has received roughly $8.5 million in federal grants from the U.S Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Several Republican Representatives, including Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX), and former HHS chief of staff under President Trump Brian Harrison have requested the HHS inspector general to conduct an audit to see if the money donated had been used in lobbying. Harrison further commented to the Washington Examiner, “the American people deserve to know if the Biden administration knowingly gave their hard-earned money to an organization to illegally promote disastrous open border policies.”
