Construction on the Pine Island bridge has been completed
just three days after construction began.
On October fifth, Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jared W. Perdue announced the early completion of emergency road and bridge repairs to Pine Island. On Sunday, DeSantis ordered Perdue to work with Lee county to expedite the repairs and to finish by Saturday, October eighth. The crews worked hard to complete the repairs under such ambitious timing and overperformed. The bridge was built in just three days.

Yeah I wonder how much the price tag was to get it done in 3 days sure those people were Union I'm sure they got triple time and I'm sure that all the stuff that they needed to cement the rebar the pilings were all just happened to be laying around to build a new bridge
It's a temporary bridge so the residents there can get off the island. You seem to have a problem with that? FEMA will pay for this.
Who cares! They needed the bridge; they got the bridge.
That's what you call expediting.
Did you want them to stand around wringing their hands?
This Governor gets things done.
Voting again for DeSantis and only Republicans! The Dems have destroyed our country!
