At Tuesday night's Workshop, the commission, along with staff, will be discussing the problems found at our new Casino building--faulty hinges and hardware, leaks, etc. and how to solve same.
The various contractors involved in our $6 million casino building have been invited to attend. This should be interesting.

Haven't the horses already left the barn?
The logical conclusion is yet another lawsuit in which the city will be ill prepared because we saved the cost of an Owner's Representative.
I hope they also address the fact that only half the building is leased. Relying on staff to lease or manage the ballroom area seems as warped as the floor.
The builder will have to honor their contractual obligations.They may have to replace faulty equip. Don't assume a law suit.
The contractor's obligations are based on the REG Plans and Specifications.
Will members of the "best commission ever" or will the "best city manager ever" be present at the meetings?
You know the group that reviewed and signed the contracts?
