Lake Worth Beach commission approves $8.5 million parking garage
The parking garage was approved in a 3-2 vote by the Lake Worth Beach city commission with Commissioners McVoy and Diaz voting against.As I watched the meeting, it seemed that the majority of the residents were against.
The goal is to improve parking and generate revenue for the city. The project will be funded through a public-private partnership that includes city funds, loans, and private investment.

Seriously? They don't have money to fix potholes.
Generate revenue for the city/ Are they living on this planet. The residents here will pay dearly in their taxes.

Hopefully downtown apartments will be built and nice normal people move in like residents of the Lucerne and Bohemian buildings enough of the hippie, artsy wannabes
DOGE needs to investigate this. The Winter White house is about 5 miles away, and Elon is occasionally local....There will be a way to get this need for an example of Small Town corruption to Musk and Trump....this is a Wonderful example of another kind of corruption that needs to be addressed.
