Boynton Beach, a city as screwed up politically as Lake Worth, has also added Jamie Titcomb to its short list of city manager candidates. Mr. Titcomb is on a month to month contract with Lake Park as Interim City Manager.
In Boynton, they have a supermajority to elect a city manager, unlike Lake Worth. Therefore, they are just a little above the bell curve than we are...trying a little harder to keep politics out of the equation.
As one former mayoral candidate, Brian Edwards, in Boynton Beach said, "This is a farce. We deserve the city manager we have. Save the money and put our city manager to work and get beyond whatever the heck is going on here." Sound familiar?
It's politics and bad decisions by elected officials in many cases Mr. Edwards, and the main reason why there is such a turn over of city managers. In Lake Worth, we have been left with unfinished projects that will eventually be under a new CEO, a stressed staff and the time and effort and expense in the search for another city manager and who, with our track record, will be gone in three years or less. When a city manager leaves because of political reasons, its sets back the city in various ways.

Your last paragraph is accurate but you left out the most important part. Firing Stanton was the first step in getting the city headed in the right direction.
In your opinion and in those who supported the trio. The rest of the 35,000 people might just disagree with you.
Let me correct your math, 34,999. I have been celebrating SS termination, (actually the removal of a malignancy) every day.

Never put her in a postion that would made her talk dirty to me, not even breathing hard, then again, it leaves room for thought.
This shows that Boynton is just as F$%^&* up as we are.
