Lake Worth Alumni Association breakfast

Yesterday was the semi-annual breakfast at Atlantis Country Club for Lake Worth alumni and its friends hosted by the fabulous Dorsey couple, Dennis and Doris. Their son, Dennis Jr., was there from the Bahamas for the occasion.

The 12^th Annual Awards Ceremony was held last week at Lake Worth High School where the Lake Worth Dollars For Scholars gave out $66,000 to 55 needy students. Since inception, they have awarded one-half million dollars.

Dollars For Scholars is a non-profit organization created to help acquire and distribute scholarship funds to needy students enrolled at Lake Worth High School. The Alumni Foundation pays all expenses incurred by Dollars for Scholars.

400 Seniors recently graduated from Lake Worth High which amounted to an 80% graduation rate, higher than the State average. Congratulations, Lake Worth High School.
