Hell breaking Loose

The Chair muzzled me!

Hell breaks loose at 4:15am says Mary Burnette, resident of the Osborne Community.

Last night there was a meeting at the Osborne Center regarding Sun Recycling. I didn't get to attend the meeting due to the Community Relations Board meeting that was exhausting and insufferable. The Chair did most of the talking even attempting to muzzle the rest of the Board. Voices went to higher octaves near the end of the meeting.

Commissioner Golden ran out of the CRB meeting directly after the racism/bigotry presentation saying that she had to get to Osborne as they have a racism problem there.

Does everything evolve around a RACE issue? Do you think that if Sun was located next to my property doing the same things that it would be people after "whitey?" Can anyone in this City get beyond labels and stop hyping and exaggerating and inventing race problems when they do not exist?

What we have with Sun Recycling is a company doing business on our land and we just plain don't want them there. Sun could care less the color of someone's skin. They are out to make the buck. Why do we have to talk everything to death? Just vote not to renew their contracts.
