Some people just never get it even when we have the most serious loss of jobs ever. Unemployment is at 6.7%, the highest rate in 15 years. Sounds very righteous but here's what President Bush told ABC--
I firmly believe that the immigration debate really didn't show the true nature of America as a welcoming society. I fully understand we need to enforce law and enforce borders. But the debate took on a tone that undermined the true greatness of America, which is that we welcome people who want to work hard and support their families.We can only be great if we allow illegals to take our jobs?
Obama and Biden support a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.
