U.S. & Mexico Prepared To Step In During Haitian Humanitarian Crisis

"Officials within both the U.S. and Mexico have expressed to the United Nations that they are ready and willing to step in to assist with the massively dire humanitarian crisis afflicting Haiti due to civil unrest being pushed further due to widespread famine, gang violence, and an outbreak of cholera.Representatives from the United States and Mexico put forth a pair of resolutions as part of a special session of the U.N. Security Council which would put in place a set of financial sanctions against criminal actors and officially allow “a limited carefully-scoped non-UN mission led by a partner country with the deep, necessary experience.”
The head of the United Nations has called for “armed action” in Haiti, warning that residents face a “nightmarish” situation, especially in the capital, Port-au-Prince.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Monday that he believed such action was necessary to ease the grip gangs have on a port that is critical to allowing fuel supplies into the country."
The agreement between the U.S. government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Government of Haiti has received more than $1.8 billion since 2011.
The UN Security Council has split over sending an international force to Haiti to help with deteriorating security and until they are in agreement and send forces into the country, we will continue to send millions in fruitless aid as the gangs are winning. Sanctions have been suggested but this is not a solution.
This reminds me of our border with the drug cartels who control it. Biden ignores our sovereignty; stopped the wall; cut funds for border control but gives aid to Haiti. The Haitian government is unable to govern and the Biden administration falls into the same category.

Yes, that's true. Haiti has always been a mess. Then they come over here and commit crimes.
When you see a Haitian it's fair to assume that they're up to something. They aren't honest and just like the others, they want everything for free. There was one in a restaurant downtown and they were cooking food for us. OMG. I made up and excuse and left. We all used hand sanitizer when we got outside. It was wild.
