On Friday, CBS News announced that it was leaving Twitter.
“In light of the uncertainty around Twitter and out of an abundance of caution, CBS News is pausing its activity on the social media site as it continues to monitor the platform,” CBS News’ Jonathan Vigliotti claimed.
Not to be outdone by their national counterpart, local CBS stations around the country, including KPIX in San Francisco, mirrored the stunt while claiming they won’t be using the social media platform either.
Don Jr. tweeted: “I’m LEAVING this group!” the picture read. “But first I’m gonna POST about leaving this group… Then I’m gonna stick around to see what everybody thinks about me leaving the group.”
After being mocked for several days, CBS changed its mind--Told ya they were "fake news."
