That's what they're telling us.
On another note regarding the Gulfstream Hotel--The Lake Worth Herald did the most disgusting hit piece on Commissioner Christopher McVoy all because he is questioning the amount of money that Lake Worth taxpayers will be expending towards this project.

I just don't see this as a boon to Lake Worth. So it generates 2m a year for 27 years. That's not a lot of money. Where are the employees coming from? All over the county I would imagine, so that just means they need a lot of parking spaces.

The tendency exists to increase bridge traffic in both directions, and cause tie-ups all the way to A Street.

The question that hasn't been answered to my satisfaction is: What is the highest and best use of the land?

They need to do something! That building has been empty and wasting away doing nothing for over 20 years!

The fire department is used it for training to sheriff's departments use it for training and so is the lake Worth Police department used it for training so they've got a lot of cleanup to do if the people can't afford to buy a property and maintain it on your own dime don't expect a taxpayers to do it where all these employees going to park where are the guests going to park oh let me guess in the parking lot right next door to the hotel this is a crock of crap everybody wants concessions look what we did to the golf course look what we did to Benny's on the beach we give all these concessions away to get businesses in here and lake Worth is giving away giving away giving away giving away and getting nothing in return

If it takes all of this handwringing to decide what to do with an old building, no wonder we never make any progress as a country.

The building the fireman was killed in on Sunday, in Philadelphia should have been torn down 50-60 years ago.

If we could live without that hotel this long, what do we need it for now. How many hundreds of people have died, waiting for a decision to be made about that old building?

This type of indecision is like dementia. The whole country seems to have it, not only the president!

@5:55. This is private property and the owners have the right to build, restore, whatever. The only say that the city has is that they build within our land development regulations and code.

Lynn there's a show on "California insider" on NTD news on part of epoch times anyway they're doing an interview with a guy named Tom Tait who was the former mayor of Anaheim California and he's talking about all The insider stuff with special interests that happens in local government and how corrupt local government is with all these payoffs and wanting to like get a building and only pay a dollar a year for it or parking lot or all these different things he's explaining how corrupt it is and how hard it is to be like a government official because there's so much insider I'm corruption of all these special interests he keeps talking about special interests a lot but you might want to look it up and watch it cuz it reminded me a lot about lake Worth and all the crazy stuff that happens in lake Worth with all the special interests there and all the corruption cuz he was just talking about there's so much corruption inlocal government. You might want to look it up I'm sure you'll find it very interesting because it seems like it's what happens in lake Worth a lot and all local cities.
