"Florida's incoming Senate minority leader finds himself in hot water after admitting to an affair with a Tallahassee lobbyist, coating the state Capitol in intrigue and scandal well before next year's legislative session has begun.

That a-hole couldn't even say he was sorry to the poor lady who lost both her children to gang violence in LW when he was mayor here. He cares only about himself.
Sounds like he, his family, and all need our prayers now. Good reminder what all of this can do to a person. Pray for jeff!
To be frank, I feel sorry for Jeff. It must have been the Democratic Party that persuaded him to resign. He had a career in front of him. I thought he would be a Congressman. Geez...what a mess. Lobbyists are a special breed of people. Jeff found that out.
Sucks to be him, but I'd rather switch places with him then any one if you dips.
Where does it say he resigned? I can't believe he would resign over something as mundane as an affair.
Not the first time Little Jeffy has cheated on his significant other. He was living with a very nice young lady back in his Lake Worth days. The nice young lady found out he was banging a local news babe at a convention he was away at. The nice young lady and some of her friends moved her stuff out of the house while Jeffey was still away "jumpin on dat' !
Not to mention Jeffys very close relationship with a prominent member of Compass.You've got to wonder how Jeff got to where he is today Going from having your house in foreclosure to running a state wide campaign?? Once a rat-always a rat.
And he's not even good-looking. Sort of has that weasel look.
Well evidently his mistress Devon West found out what a rat he really was so she turned the tables on him and let him have it. Pray for them all. We really do need good people in politics so maybe something good will come out of this to get someone good now. Our state, country, and people all deserve good elected officials who care and put the people first not themselves.
She must have been very TICKED off to do that.
I am sure she was, but if you know jeff like I do, he can be a very nasty person, he is not nice, so it is good to hear that he stepped down to work on becoming a better person now, he needs to do this, I hope it helps. God bless them all, especially his poor wife and family.
I really didn't like him, so I'm really surprised he's gone. Usually, the people I don't like are around forever. God only knows who will replace him. I might wind up wishing he was back.
