Thanks Lynn.

Our county, state and federal legislators need to cut through the bureaucracy and make real and substantial progress to divert the water south to save our rivers from the destructive pollution from the Lake Okeechobee polluted waters now being emptied into them.

It's an emergency, elected officials. Please respond accordingly.

I have never understood why those who pollute our waters with excess nitrogen and chemicals cannot be held responsible. Political clout and special favors should not take precedence over our right to clean water. I also just read that some places are using seaweed, which naturally removes nitrogen from water, for water restoration.
