The government's secret plan to ban all guns?

    The AK-47 Rifle accounts for…

- 5x’s less murders than a Knife
- 1.8x’s less than a blunt object
     - 27x’s less deaths than handguns.

From Conservative Alert:

Couple the above with 92% of the mass shootings occurred in “gun free zones?”
So here are the 2 important things you must take from those stats…

1.     The big shiny AK-47 is just the bait to eventually ban all guns, and it has less to do with the murdered citizens, and more to do with government control, and taking away any threat of an uprising.
2.    The chart points out, many murders in the US, happen with blunt objects, personal confrontation, and stabbings, all in very close range, within just a few feet…

Yeah, this age old rumor never fails to succeed in geometrically multiplying gun and ammo sales. You can thank the RNA for this very profitable mistruth. The gun sellers are laughing all the way to the bank. Better run right out to your local gun show right now. And hurry.

Obama wants to ban military-style assault weapons and limits magazines to a capacity of 10 rounds. Read his plan: http://www.ncsl.org/research/civil-and-criminal-justice/summary-president-obama-gun-proposals.aspx

And hey, if you are a sociail security recipient who can't balance his checkbook, be careful.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." This amendment was not designed for the use of hunting. It was meant for if the people to have the ability to rise up against a corrupt government. Which I find especially ironic that our current government has put such an emphasis on the phrase, “assault rifles.” Which isn’t even the correct terminology for such firearms.

As it stands today, I own AR-15 and AK style firearms, which is my right as a law abiding citizen to possess semi-automatic rifles. All my firearms, scary as they may appear to the anti-gunners, are used for gaming and all lawful purposes. In 1994 a ban on all “semi-automatic” rifles was instituted and expired in 2004. This ban had no effect on lowering the crime rate therefore it was deemed ineffective and terminated. The term “assault weapon” is a phrase used by leftwing activists, driven by our misguided media. In efforts to strike fear into volatile society based on an unlawful use towards one another, which refers to the term “assault.” The actual AR in AR-15 means Armalite Rifle which was the first company to begin production in 1959, it does not stand for “assault rifle.”
The times have changed from the days of our four fathers carrying muskets for sporting and defensive measures. Through the advances in technology weapon capabilities have grown by leaps and bounds. Terrorist threats have become more and more abundant than ever. With the threats facing us in today’s world, a gun on my hip is as second nature a wallet in my pocket. We must grow with the times and protect ourselves as our world changes. Guns are not the problem. The problem lies on the empty hearts and corrupted souls that use these tools for immoral purposes. I do not feel my rights should be infringed upon because evil men and women are using firearms for hateful crimes against humanity. I completely agree with deeper background checks and the creation of stronger laws in order to reduce such travesties that not only plague America, but inflict heartache throughout the globe. In truth though, no matter what laws are passed, what rules are invoked, determined criminals will always find the means to spread hate and violence through the unlawful use of firearms. The term “political correctness” should be abolished. Our supposed “Leaders” are to focused on their own selfish and idealistic attitudes, instead of coming together in a united front to enact a law that is equally fair to all “legal firearm owners.” The overall goal should be to improve the security and well-being of the American Citizens in hopes of reducing the number of firearm related incidences. In an instance, the main defense against an evil person with a gun is good person with a gun. I am a legal concealed carry firearm owner and will always protect myself, my family and my friends from all enemies foreign and domestic. I feel a great swell of pity for the poor soul that comes to my door looking for trouble by infringing on my rights or my family’s safety.

Well said, Nicholas. You could get a high paying job with the NRA. Maybe an advertisement.
