On the steps of the U.S. capitol, dozens of government workers, encouraged by the congressional Black Associates and a few other groups, walked out with their hands in the air in protest of the grand jury decisions in the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases. They could have been arrested for trespassing. They could also have been arrested for
not having a permit, disorderly conduct, unlawful assembly, or any number of other
crimes. You do have the right to distribute literature, chant, and engage passersby in debate, but you do not have the right to block a building entrance or physically harass people. As they were on government property, and blocking the entrance, perhaps they all should get pink slips for Christmas? Oh, that's right...they are protected by the unions and would throw up the race card.

Just curious, what union represents these employees, Lynn?
maybe the NFFE--government employees seem to be represented by unions. You get the point though.
Well it seems like this walkout is similar to a strike, which is something government employees are not supposed to do.
Regarding union representation, many federal employees, particularly those in management positions or those who requires security clearances, DO NOT belong to unions.
Just FYI.
