Do it.
That's what elections are for.
Unfortunately, today's GOP message of taking away from the American people, hating on certain groups of Americans and protecting the 1% only resonates with about 20% of the population. That doesn't win you general elections.
Until the Republican Party and its supporters realize and accept that America and Americans are changing and decide to go with it instead of wishing for "the good old days" when white America was the majority and dictated the rules, they'll only appeal to a certain generation...until they die off, of course. Only when that happens in about 10-15 years will you see the Republican Party transform itself to reflect today's America.
