Quote of the day - John Tyler on Truth

Comment Up
'Truth should always be uttered no matter what the consequences. Nothing so degrades a man as equivocation and deceit. When I am in company with a double-dealing man -- one who has one language on his tongue and another in his heart -- I am involuntarily made to avoid him as I would a poisonous reptile.'"

~ President John Tyler, 10th President of the United States with two grandsons still living today.

Right, but why is it that so many here never want to hear the truth, or when you tell them it, they through it in your face or are upset by it. Or why do so many want to silence people in this city. Our city admin are so bad about accepting the truth or hearing or listening to us, they want to shut us up and silence us. Never never never let them silence you, never settle for their mediocrity.

This city is dysfunctional with a lot of arrogant people in charge right now. They are doing a big "sale" on how wonderful they are and some are actually buying into it.

Nobody's buying into anything. They can see the results for themselves. The only ones that can't see the results are the supporters of the "best commission ever". who still believe that Jennings, Mulvehill, Golden, Drautz and 3 time foreclosed 90 day mayor should still be making important decisions for the city. boo effin hoo for you.
