How totally, totally dishonest. People like Greg Rice lie so much, so often, that they lose sight of what is real, what is true. And they think, all along, that people don't know they're lying. We know, Greg, we know. We know never to bother listening to anything you ever say going forward.
200 votes isn't close?
The fact that you collected 1,700 signatures but got only 1,200 votes doesn't indicate the vote was close?
While you should get credit for getting your 1,200 lemmings out to vote, what they typically vote for is wrong for the city. That's why the city's broke and there's very little hope for the future. The same "core" of people use the same scare tactics and amazingly theu keep working on Lake Worth's low information voters.
Your group relies on the fact there are 15,00 registered voters in the city but 15% is all that ever shows up to vote.
If you lost by 200 votes you'd all be crying about corruption playing a role in the close vote.
Enjoy your victory as you drive around the 50% vacant charming low rise low rent downtown.
Greg, the voter turnout in March is ALWAYS low. You know that. You can't force people off their sofas. That is why it is so much work to win.
I don't appreciate your phrase "lemmings." We have all graduated now from sheep to rats. NICE. When are you going to rise above the name calling?
I believe it was you and your group that used scare tactics and dishonest ones at that. 55.86% of the voters saw through your lies. The only smart people are you and your friends, is that it?
Wow, these comments were right at 180 degrees when state constitutional amendment failed. That one also was for voters to vote on everything.
Greg, that was to keep local governments from making comp plan and zoning changes from the dais. That is what prompted the Respectful Planning PAC referendum when your friends on the commission changed the comp plan to 65 feet.
What an unsavory group. If they had not confused the voters, the margin would have been 15 to 20 points more than it was for the yes people. Their goal was to win by deceit.
And what shall we call the citizens that voted for the NO position? Confused lemmings? We don't agree on much, but at least both sides wanted a LOW RISE CITY !!!! LOL
he came up short---haha
Careful now, he, Mary and the LW Herald will come after me for some unseemly comment.
