The Courtyard by Marriott is building a 4 story hotel near Roger Dean Stadium. They are looking at the die-hard baseball fans who come here yearly for their main revenue source. Here in Lake Worth, we have the most fabulous beach and casino and so much more that attracts tourists to our city from all over the world.

Look at this rendering of the hotel

It looks taller than 45 feet.

I know that you just hate to see examples of 4 stories and tear them all apart saying apples and oranges, but this depicts a 4 story hotel.

Calm down!

I am no a member of the NO side!

Actually I like 4 story hotels, a lot of the ones you have posted are pretty cool. In fact I have stayed in a few of them.

I was simply pointing out that this one appears taller than what we could build in Lake Worth.

That's pretty "apples to apples" as far as I can see.

11:27 since you guys are the ones that said you could make a 4 story hotel work in Lake Worth why don't you attract a small hotel to the city?
Time to put your money where your mouth is.

why didn't you post my comment about incentives and expensive housing? it fell in your blog guidelines?

Why don't you try to bing a 4 story hotel to LW. Because you are professional do nothings. You would not have the first clue about how to court developers and encourage economic development projects.

You are an ass just like Lynn.

Lake Worth city staff gets paid for doing something eight hours a day. Let them get us a hotel. Please keep it out of the CRA district. The city of Lake Worth needs the revenues.
