86 year old Lake Worth Veteran left alone in the rain

Comment Up
86 year old left out in the rain for hours.

For all you seniors--This is our fate folks...lose our trolley...lose the Senior Center...lose the Shuffleboard Courts and now, when you really are older and alone and need help, you are abandoned to the elements. Jeremiah Thompson rode out the storm in his wheelchair.

Where was his family?

This is when you have to have a cell phone. He was dropped off 2 hours before he was expected.

Where WAS this guys family? I'm sick of people throwing away the care of their family members to strangers!Ship a guy that can't get out of a wheelchair to go by himself ANYWHERE?!?SHAME,SHAME, on this guys so called family!I can't TELL you the number of patients I see who are "cared "for by aides who are rude and uncaring to their charges. All these aides want to do is sit on their butts and talk on their cell phones! And these poor seniors tell me proudly about their sons and daughters, many who are doctors and lawyers and other professionals,by the way,who live up north. Seniors living down here, alone in a senior facility or alone in a home with home health aides. Children and grandchildren living someplace else. Who's more to blame? The DICKS who abandoned their parents,or the parents, who raised such DICKS!?!
