Lake Worth Tracy Petersen Finalist in Purina Contest

Over 400 people applied for Phase 1 of the contest and sent in their 250 word essay and photo. From that, Beneful (Purina) picked 20 finalists for Phase 2 of the contest, to create and submit a 2 minute video, answering the question "If you had $500,000. to create a Dream Dog Park for you and your best buddy, what would you do?" The winner will be determined by this public vote AND by the chosen panel of judges. The videos will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Creativity of the idea(s) to enhance your daily adventure with your dog at your neighborhood dog park. 60%
2. Feasibility of bringing the idea to life 20%
3. Effectively demonstrates how life is better together with your dog 20%

Please forward this to every dog lover you know and to City and County Parks people, because once I win, Beneful will have to figure out where the Park is going!!!

Congratulations! You did a super job on the model. Have sent yout link to everyone I know, Lake Worth really needs a dog park. If it's close to downtown, it will also bring business to the merchants and restaurants. Right now we take our dogs to Delray. Since alot of the restaurants and bars are dog friendly, it would be a great asset to the community. Hope you win!
