True--the rates are high. But what about the $10,000,000 we take from our Utility to operate our city? What about the services we enjoy? Do you want to stop all of them too?
What services? We have cut code, we have the worst customer service and highest utilities. And we do not have a budget, we are always looking to cut something and over budget. So the $10,000,000.00 does not cut it. The Beach not the building is going to cost more money, That WE do not the have so something else will have to be cut. The roads are a joke, and the sewer system needs to be redone..And the electric is a joke it goes out when we have high winds (just look at yesterday.) So what services are you talking about?????
What services? How soon we forget. Isn't PBSO a service? Maybe not. What about PBCFR? Oh, not them either. That's about $20 million there for services we apparently don't value. Please tell me the last time code enforcement had any effect whatsoever on slum & blight and let's go back to that level of service. Can't remember, right? So let's throw good money after bad. What kind of a numbskull says $10 million doesn't cut it?? It's paying for your crappy PBSO service. Are you getting $1.2M a month worth of service? Really?? The sewer system IS being re-done. Pay attention and quit complaining for the sake of complaining. The CM is getting rid of those crappy union azzholes and bringing in REAL customer service people. But you probably love unions, right? So there's something new for you to go in circles about. Really. The haters are running out of things to cry about. That's good reason to cry, I guess.
