Artificial Intelligence--taking the world by storm

Top AI chatbots were asked for their predictions for 2024

and it produced some VERY alarming results

DailyMail.com asked the leading AI chatbots to predict their own fate - Google’s Bard and Amazon-backed Claude

Daily Mail chose those two language models because they use live information from the internet to make their predictions, unlike ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing which rely on older data.

AGI is a theoretical intelligent agent able to complete any intellectual task a human can - and the arrival of AGI is forecast to cause huge changes to human society.

Bard predicted that 2024 could see biotechnology breakthroughs which ‘upgrade’ the human race.

The AI suggested that these could include breakthroughs in ‘Brain Computer Interfaces’, where human brains connect to computers. Claude told DailyMail.com: ‘In recent years we've seen AI algorithms match or exceed human performance in specialized tasks like object recognition, game playing, and language processing.

With the Presidential election looming in the U.S., Google’s Bard predicted that malicious actors will try to undermine the election using technology.

Such attacks could include attacks on voting machines in an effort to undermine trust in the result, Bard with Gemini Pro warned.

The only intelligence we have in this country is artificial.

Be careful talking to a stranger in person or on the phone too they can copy you and your voice, then use and alter to do a lot of bad, it is very risky and not safe now, a lot of theft from this.

"Beam me up Scottie"

The whole thing makes me sick. I can't imagine we are going to be better off with this garbage. Most people who have smart houses don't even use the stuff. It's just a money making, news making event. If anything, it will just make everything worse, and things are bad enough now.

What do we need it for?

The tech people never had any friends. They never played with other kids, just sat in their garages inventing useless stuff that we are now stuck with and imagine we can't live without.

That goes for you too: "Elon Musk".

Bet you wish you just had some kids to play ball with back there in SA.
