Our Trade Deficit and another American company wants to move its operations to Mexico

Rexnord Corporation, a company that manufactures
plans on moving its Indianapolis plant to Mexico. 300 people will be out of work. Rexnord is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, comprised of two strategic platforms, Process & Motion Control and Water Management, with approximately 7,700 employees worldwide, according to its website.

Then we have the elite (like John McCain) of the Republican party who are against Trump and his trade policies. First they opposed him because they thought he could not win. Now they are afraid of a trade war even though there is a huge imbalance of trade. The U.S. trade deficit in goods alone was $758.9 billion, 2.4% higher than last year. If Republicans continue to oppose Donald Trump, America loses right along with the American worker.

The top five trading partners also have the largest deficits. They are Canada - $575.5 billion traded with a $2.2 billion deficit. China - $598.1 billion traded with a $29.7 billion deficit. Mexico - $531.1 billion with a $4.6 billion deficit. Japan - $193.6 billion traded with a $6.6 billion deficit. Germany - $174.1 billion traded with a $6.7 billion deficit.
