Quote of the Day - Athiest Chaz Stevens

Comment Up
“Keep this in mind: The Constitution isn’t about protecting the majority view, like Title 9 in sports, it’s about protecting the minority view and what’s more minority than satanic temple or Festivus pole made of cans for gay pride.”

 ~ Chaz Stevens

That's how he justifies protecting the minority by mocking and ridiculing Christianity. He is so lucky to live in this country where the majority has to put up with this diarrhea.

Now he's hitched to gay pride? How desperate for the attention he's getting for nothing. Ignore it and it will go away.

Very true, thankful that civil rights are not decided by the majority viewpoint. Nothing against religion, nothing against Christianity, but there is no reason for the majority to push their viewpoints and beliefs on the rest of us while in the public square.

Stevens is not going away any more than a Muslim jihadist will go away. They are both committed to their causes, as reprehensible as they are. Christians need to speak up. Americans need to speak up. Trump IS speaking up. Politically correct people condemn both and I don't have time for PC's.

The fact is he's absolutely right. As grotesque, repulsive, and annoying this guy is 100% correct. Freedom of speech is there to protect unpopular speech equally as much as to protect the populist views. That's the whole point of it and he's proven that by winning his little victories. Too bad he doesn't dedicate his life to something a little more positive in the world, but hey, we are all entitled to our opinion. We are Christians, he's a devil worshiping scoundrel, but we are all entitle to the same rights.

Some may think he's correct but we really don't need to hear from it, a nonissue in these frightened times.I have to wonder what I'd do if some nut came
at me with a knife randomly like what happened recently in London.

Well, you can't carry a handgun in London and shoot the SOB.

How very unAmerican ... to actually study the Constitution, SCOTUS rulings, case law, and the such ... and then to actually put that knowledge into practice.

To actually use our Constitutional Rights for their intended purpose.

For the last decade, a constant respite I often here is "he's just going thru his 15 minutes of fame." Ignore him, and he'll go away.

Folks, the TV folks in St. Louis interviewed me, just returned from NYC where there was a theater production about my efforts, broadcast on HuffPo Live (gasp) in front of 8m viewers.

So, you might be wondering, why worry about Lynn's little blog read by 25 people?

1. Keeps me in touch with my roots.
2. If I can irritate a handful, then my efforts are surely scalable ... economies of scale and the such.
3. Plus, you troglodytes amuse me ... it's always a laugh to read the musings of low-information voters.

Very low information voters.

Hi Chaz-
You probably would be surprised the number of people who read my blog.
But it is mostly local. But having said that, you interest me and that is why I even bother. It's all so ridiculous what you are doing, blasphomous, but you have every right to be that way.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Haven't you heard, I'm trying to take Christ out of the pagan ritual of Saturnalia.

PS Where is Christmas in the bible?

Lynn Anderson said...

Why should it have to be mentioned in the bible? The word "Christmas" is a combination of the words "Christ" and "Mass.
