Well, Obama just recognized the communists after 50 years like they are long lost friends and we were the bad guys. He reestablished diplomatic relations and opened an embassy. Obama says this is a "new chapter" in our relations...friendship between our people and theirs. After Castro got official recognition, Cuba has now demanded reparations for the embargo at $1.1 trillion.
Now the latest news is that a top Cuban military official was recently seen in Syria, raising fears that Havana is advising President Bashar al-Assad's forces and possibly
readying to operate tanks made in Russia to help in the battle against
U.S.-backed rebel forces, according to news reports Wednesday.
