Girl's Night Out

It was a fun night in our downtown. People dotted all over Lake and Lucerne wearing pink shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness. Gifts from the shops were given out to those ladies who contributed to the cause as well as tidbits. Some served wine. The participating stores were identified by pink balloons: Clay Glass Metal and Stone, The Unknown Boutique, Trinkets and Treasures, Sequel's Boutique, Lake Worth Jewelers, Lake Worth Boutique, Nails and Spa, Olga's Alterations, Maurici's Salon who also owns Milton's Grooming Parlor, Southshore Tavern, Surf's Up cleaners.

Gift of hair products from Maurici who also gave out roses (photo of BarbaraJean above). He had a bubble making machine that blew pink bubbles all evening long.

Clay Glass Metal and Stone Gallery--one of their art pieces. If you haven't been to their new location yet, please do--it's fabulous at 15 South J Street.

Also set up on S. J Street was the Chase Stites Band

Most of the shops were opened last night taking advantage of this successful event. The Rum Shack has moved to the corner of J and Lake Avenue and they were swinging last night. That entire section of the downtown is destined to be the next "in" area in Lake Worth.
