Surfriders Foundation having Lake Worth beach clean-up
Good morning! Just wanted to let you know about two great events planned for this Saturday, October 19th. --
Saturday morning we will be at Lake Worth Municipal Beach for a clean up! We will be on site from 7:30-10am. After you are done with the clean up, please sign up for our One Foot at a Time contest!
The One Foot At A Time contest encourages everyone to participate in local clean ups all throughout the month of October, and use the plastic collected to make an inspiring design representing our imprint, or "footprint" on the environment! The person to submit the best design wins a brand new Firewire surfboard! We will have templates available, but feel free to print your own and bring it with you! More info can be found here: http://www.rapmonth.org/ofaat/
Saturday night we will be at Hurricane Grill & Wings in Lake Worth (https://www.facebook.com/hgwwellington) for a spooktacular event with raffles, music, food & drink specials, lots of prizes to be won and an awesome Halloween costume contest! (Not mandatory, but it will be a blast if you come dressed up!) Not to mention the prize for first place.
We will kick everything off at 6PM that night, just a few hours after our beach clean up at Lake Worth beach that morning. Hope to see you there...and spread the word, it's going to be an AWESOME day!!
