The Florida panther, Florida’s state animal, is one of the most endangered mammals on earth. Friends of the Florida Panther, as does all conservation groups, understand what has happened to our Florida Panther. So does Florida Hometown Democracy.
The Florida Panthers live in the southern part of Florida and are threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation. The number one cause of their extinction is due to human development. Due to sprawl, they are also threatened by collision with vehicles.
We can help our State animal and the health of Florida in general by telling greedy politicians that we want to vote on their horrendous and devastating decisions.
