QUIET ZONE at lastThe City of Lake Worth filed a Notice of Establishment to Create a Quiet Zone which will eliminate train horn noise within the City of Lake Worth on the CSX Transportation railway (the one that parallels I-95).
The date of effect of this Quiet Zone is 12:01 a.m. on June 4th, 2010 which will provide a significant improvement to the quality of life of the residents who are domiciled close to this railway.
This is the first time in years where I slept all the way through. Perhaps those 1 am city commission meetings won't kill me again.
