Lake Worth Alumni Foundation

The bi-annual breakfast sponsored by Dennis and Doris Dorsey was held at the Atlantis Country Club this morning. Among some of the attendees were Paul Blockson, Virginia Thomas, John Adair, Dave Cantley, former principal of Lake Worth High, and Dave McGregor, former coach. This year the Lake Worth Alumni Foundation, Dollars for Scholars, gave out $57,000 in scholarships to 55 students.

Mr. Packard talked about all the strategies that are being implemented to help our high school achieve a better grade. One of them is Saturday FCAT tutoring. On Saturday mornings they meet at the school cafeteria and help students. If you want to volunteer, just show up there from 9 to 1pm per the following schedule:
