The Substance of Water

"We have overindulged for too long and developers have overbuilt and sucked the water dry. Now we must live with the consequences."

Read what Jack Scarola has to say.

Recently you probably read about Jack Scarola who was the divorce attorney for the first Mrs. Greg Norman, Laura, who won a $100 million settlement.

"He graduated with honors from Georgetown University in 1969 and from Georgetown Law Center in 1973. Before joining the firm of Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, PA in 1978, he was Chief Felony Prosecutor in the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s office, where he was lead counsel in the trials of more than fifty major criminal cases."

The case that I remember the most was the Mark Herman murder trial. Scarola was the Assistant State Attorney then when Richard Kreusler (Kreusler Park) was murdered at his home in Palm Beach in January 1976. Kreusler had an office where I worked. I also knew Mark Herman who was a black belt in karate and had a karate school. Scarola successfully convicted Herman who got life. This was the nation’s first gavel-to-gavel televised murder trial.

Remember Florida Hometown Democracy next November 2, 2010 and what Jack has to say.
