In the "fan" debate, Charlie Crist said that the 832,000
Florida jobs lost were all due to the “global economic meltdown.” He claims he
had nothing to do with it.
The question remains, then: Why did Florida’s unemployment
increase more than the national average? Why did Florida lose the most jobs in
the country?
Why? Because when hundreds of thousands of Floridians lost
their jobs, Charlie disappeared to advance his own political career.
Charlie can blame his failed policies on the global
recession all he likes. Nothing will erase the fact that when Floridians needed
him most, he abandoned them to look out for himself.
Don’t let him repeat his mistakes. Florida just can’t afford it.
