Nature Tour of John Prince Park

Comment Up

Dear Neighbors, Friends and Supporters of John Prince Park,

The ROLOH Neighborhood would like to extend a nature tour of John Prince Park to All.  John Prince Park is the Central Green Space for this area since its inception and there are so many hidden treasures of nature throughout the park.

This Saturday we ask everyone to meet at the Lake Osborne Presbyterian Church and car pool or at the main parking entrances at John Prince Park off of Sixth Avenue South and take a walking tour of this Natural Asset in Palm Beach County and all the wonders of nature mixed with the interaction of people who enjoy this outdoor green space.

ROLOH's own Dorothy Brindle will be leading the tour and we ask that you invite your friends, neighbors and anyone that wants to experience the wonder that is John Prince Park and all the nature that calls it home.

This is Saturday, March 22nd @ 4PM

This is an informational tour and we encourage you to bring water or snacks if you need them.  Bring your kids and let them learn the wonder that is John Prince Park which was designated a park for the People and Residents of Palm Beach County.

Let's all know more about our own natural history and support OUR Park.

PARK HISTORY
John Prince was a member of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners for 18 years. In the 1930s and 1940s, thanks to his efforts, developers and the State donated more than 1,000 acres in Lake Worth for a community park. The park was named in his memory after his death in 1952, and it is believed to be the second oldest County-operated park in Florida. Source: Our Century, Palm Beach Post

Thank You

It's pretty sad that greedy politicians are willing to throw a public park under the bus for some under the table pay offs. Sad ! I will be a the tour . Can't wait. Maybe the other blogger should come and film what Pam and Scott want to destroy so that Billionaires can have free $hit.
